the game is definitely a good attempt, but has way too many shortcomings. i even had a hard time pressing the buttons consistently and had to resort to the old tab-enter to advance screens. graphics arent bad, but the animations seem very jolted. for example, jumping does not flow into walking or attacking or anything. with a brawler, flow is crucial, and i didnt get that. collision detection wasnt great either. i found myself going through coins quite often. my guess is that you set only the torso to have detection, but really the head should too. these problems made the game get old for me in two minutes... nice try anyways

Good game, music lends itself well. trippy as fuck, too. Only a couple complaints. first off, I think that the lack of a secondary attack with the guns couldve been improved. maybe add a pistol whip? also, when i got stuck jumping into a mob of 10 or so demons i went from full health to -20 in about 1 second.... not sure if theres a solution to this, but maybe tweak the speed of the demon attack or put a limit on how much damage can be sustained in only a second. overall, great fun though. played to the end, which is unusual for me on most stage-by-stage brawlers. keep up the good work

Before I had even read the comments on this being from Metroid, I immediately recognized the tune. Great job. Catchy track, and a great replica. Maybe better than the original even. Its a pleasure to hear your work.
